Hearing for the Highway 173 Corridor Plan - June 16th:
The Boone County Planning Commission is conducting a public hearing for the Highway 173 Corridor Plan at 6 p.m. June 16 in the Council Chambers at Belvidere City Hall, 401 Whitney Blvd. The Highway 173 Corridor Plan includes guidelines for commercial and residential growth along Highway 173. Contact Planning Director for Boone County, Adam Tegen, at 815-544-5271 for information.

JULY COMMITTEE MEETING HAS BEEN MOVED TO JULY 14TH INSTEAD OF JULY 7TH.




Meetings are held in the Fire Station at 2428 Main St, Caledonia.

Committee As a Whole Meeting: 1st Tuesday of each month, 6:15pm.

Board Meeting: 3rd Tuesday of each month, 7:00pm.

It's Summer!



As residents and visitors drive through our village there are lots of attractive yards to see. Many people drive to Caledonia to use the bike path. Let's be proud of our village and respectful of our neighbors. Remember to mow your grass and bring your garbage cans in off the road after they are emptied.

Don't be surprised if you see people sanding and painting our village road signposts. Rust has made its appearance and Trustee Mary Walraven, along with a village resident, have kindly volunteered to patch up the signposts.
