Community Garden
Caledonia Village Board is pleased to announce plans for a Community garden. The garden will be located on village property at Randolph Street.

Village President, Rod Fritz, applied for a community garden grant and received notification recently that the application was successful. To qualify for the grant, three volunteers were needed. We would like to thank Rod Fritz, Joanne Fritz and Rae Duncan who have volunteered to start the community garden. Rod has been researching different ideas for the garden, 80% of which will be vegetables. We hope to share the produce with a local food pantry.

On April 6th, a Public Hearing was held to discuss the Community Garden and a Special Land Use Permit was granted to the village. Neighbors attended the hearing to share their input with Board Members. The Board would like to assure residents that it will be sympathetic to reasonable requests regarding the garden's times of operation and parking, etc.
